Navigation Improvements & Updates

I have been working on improving the downloads section of the site to make it easier to navigate. The result of these efforts is now up and running and should make it easier to browse the content on offer. Visit the downloads section to see the changes.

Also, the ‘Latest Widgets’ widget has been updated to fix a few bugs and also has a few graphical enhancements. I strongly recommend updating to this version. You can do so buy clicking here.

Finally, I have updated the biography page with more information and with links to other photography websites I enjoy visiting.

Gallery Update and New Widgets

I’m still chugging away at getting the galleries up and running, which I hope to do very soon.

In the meantime, I have uploaded some new dashboard widgets. The latest ones added to the collection are: NewScientist, DigitalSpy, DPReview V2, Engadget, Keane, InterfaceLIFT and Imogen Heap widgets.

The InterfaceLIFT widget has been very very popular - over 5000 downloads in two weeks. Best of all, these widgets are all free to download. However, if you would like to support development, you can send us a donation, or click on some of the Google ads on this site (don’t commit click fraud though!)

Lastly, due to the great response, I have been working on porting some of the widgets to the popular Yahoo! widget engine. The benefits of this are that the widgets can be used on both Mac and Windows computers. However, the Yahoo! widget engine is a completely different animal from Dashboard on Mac OS X, so your continued support is appreciated.

New Site Development

Thanks for visiting the new site. I am working on getting my image galleries up over the next few days. For the moment, head on over to the downloads page to get some free widgets (currently Mac OS X only).

When the site is complete you will be able to view all my work, download my free software, and buy prints.

In addition, I will be offering a professional image retouching services. You will be able to send old prints & negatives to be digitally retouched and restored.

Finally, I will be launching a picture DVD service soon. More details on this to follow shortly.
